Bio Extra

A Scotland youth internationalist, McGoldrick got his first taste of men's football with Thistle in the 2005 pre-season, and the 17-year-old got on the scoresheet in a Highland tour game at Deveronvale. First team opportunities were limited for the striker, and he spent the latter part of 2006-07 on loan with Albion Rovers in Division Three, but only made four appearances from the bench for the Coatbridge outfit. A popular lad, he appeared in the testimonial games for both Kenny Arthur and John Lambie. Last I heard he was playing with Lesmahagow in 2007-08.
