Bio Extra

John was signed from Airdrie, having previously played with Clydebank and St Mirren, during an injury crisis in the Thistle defence. His performances were determined and he could lift others around him with his effort. His excellent reading of the game compensated for his lack of speed. Work commitments made it impossible for him to play on the following season.
