John C. Colquhoun was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. *

The goalkeeper signed for George Easton's Thistle on Saturday, 24th May, 1913, having most recently been with St Anthony's.

He made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 23rd September, 1913, in a 2-0 neutral-venue defeat against Third Lanark in the Glasgow Cup.

John kept his first clean-sheet on Saturday, 15th November, 1913, in a 0-0 draw away to Aberdeen in the SFL First Division.

He kept his second and last clean-sheet on Saturday, 6th March, 1915, in a 0-0 draw away to Aberdeen in the SFL First Division.

He played his last game for the club on Thursday, 21st August, 1919, in a 3-1 defeat away to Rangers in a Benefit match, having appeared as a Jag on 13 occasions.

His club-list included St Anthony's, Partick Thistle and Vale of Leven.
