| Joe McDonald |
Joseph McDonald was born circa 2003, and is most likely to be Scottish. * The defender was introduced to Ian McCall's Thistle in pre-season 2020, having most recently been with Partick Thistle U-18. He was listed as a substitute for the one and only time on Friday, 2nd October, 2020, in a 2-0 friendly defeat at home to Heart of Midlothian. There were no registered first-team appearances for Joe in his time at Thistle. At June, 2023, his only known club was Partick Thistle. |
![]() Along with many of his academy mates, centre back Joe got some of the Firhill experience when he turned out for the reserve side in the Glasgow Cup of 2019-20, playing alongside a number of bona-fide first team players. In October 2020, he was listed on the bench for the first team proper in the (belated) pre-season friendly against Hearts at Firhill, but that proved to be a one-off experience. With no announcements to go on, and no sign of Joe in the Academy or reserves sides, he presumably left the club sometime in 2021. |
