● Joe McDonald, 2020 (YTP)

probably born in Scotland

Joseph McDonald was born circa 2003, and is most likely to be Scottish. *

The defender was introduced to Ian McCall's Thistle in pre-season 2020, having most recently been with Partick Thistle U-18.

He was listed as a substitute for the one and only time on Friday, 2nd October, 2020, in a 2-0 friendly defeat at home to Heart of Midlothian.

There were no registered first-team appearances for Joe in his time at Thistle.

At June, 2023, his only known club was Partick Thistle.

Bio Extra

Along with many of his academy mates, centre back Joe got some of the Firhill experience when he turned out for the reserve side in the Glasgow Cup of 2019-20, playing alongside a number of bona-fide first team players. In October 2020, he was listed on the bench for the first team proper in the (belated) pre-season friendly against Hearts at Firhill, but that proved to be a one-off experience. With no announcements to go on, and no sign of Joe in the Academy or reserves sides, he presumably left the club sometime in 2021.
