 Joe Houston was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The midfielder signed for Thistle in August, 1895, having most recently been with Jordanhill Juniors. He made his only known appearance on Saturday, 7th September, 1895, in a 2-2 draw at home to Kilmarnock in the SFL Second Division. There were no goals for Joe in his only known appearance for Thistle. His club-list included Jordanhill Juniors and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Joe died. *
