![]() James Mullin was born on Thursday, 29th March, 1951, in Glasgow. The 5' 6 (9st 7lbs) forward signed for Scot Symon's Thistle on Monday, 25th August, 1969, having most recently been with Eastercraigs. Aged 20, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 1st September, 1971, in a 5-0 win at home to Raith Rovers in the League Cup. Jim scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 15th April, 1972, in a 2-1 defeat away to Motherwell in the SFL First Division. He scored the last of his 4 goals on Thursday, 20th July, 1972, in an 11-1 win away to VĂ€sterhaninge in the July Cup. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 29th September, 1973, in a 2-0 defeat away to Dumbarton in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 15 occasions. Jim's club-list included Eastercraigs, Partick Thistle, East Stirlingshire, Dunfermline Athletic and Kirkintilloch Rob Roy. |
