James Hamilton was born on Monday, 9th February, 1976, in Aberdeen.

The 6' 0 (11st 0lbs) forward signed for Ian McCall's Thistle on Friday, 10th July, 2009, having most recently been with St Mirren.

Aged 33, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 11th July, 2009, in a 1-1 friendly draw away to Stirling Albion.
