 James McGilbray Mitchell was born on Saturday, 6th November, 1976, in Glasgow. The 5' 7 (10st 0lbs) midfielder signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Saturday, 18th May, 2002, having most recently been with Clyde. Aged 25, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 20th July, 2002, in a 1-0 friendly win away to Portadown. Jamie scored his first two goals for Thistle on Saturday, 17th August, 2002, in a 2-2 draw at home to Livingston in the Scottish Premier League. He scored the last of his 12 goals on Saturday, 14th August, 2004, in a 3-2 win at home to Airdrie United in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 2nd April, 2005, in a 3-1 defeat away to Queen of the South in the SFL First Division, having clocked up 107 appearances as a Jag. Jamie's club-list included Norwich City, Scarborough, Clyde, Partick Thistle and Wroxham. |
