![]() Martin James Buchan was born on Sunday, 3rd April, 1977, in Manchester. The 5' 10 (10st 10lbs) midfielder signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 21st June, 2002, having most recently been with Dundee United. Aged 25, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 16th July, 2002, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Derry City. Jamie scored his first goal for Thistle on Tuesday, 24th September, 2002, in a 3-0 win away to Berwick Rangers in the League Cup. He scored his second and final goal for the club on Saturday, 1st March, 2003, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Dundee in the Scottish Premier League. He played his last game for Thistle on Saturday, 10th May, 2003, in a 2-1 defeat away to Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League, having appeared as a Jag on 37 occasions.
