James Muncie was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. *

The goalkeeper joined George Easton's Thistle for a trial in April, 1906, having most recently been with Glenbuck Cherrypickers.

He made his only appearance on Saturday, 21st April, 1906, in a 2-0 defeat away to Queen's Park in the Glasgow League.

His club-list included Glenbuck Cherrypickers and Partick Thistle.
