![]() James Ferguson was born in Scotland, although we've been unable to establish a place or date of birth as of yet. The forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Thursday, 15th August, 1907, having most recently been with Woolwich Arsenal. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 17th August, 1907, in a 2-2 draw at home to Morton in the SFL First Division. That day, James became a member of our scoring debutant's club. He scored the last of his 5 goals on Saturday, 21st December, 1907, in a 3-1 win at home to Clyde in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Thursday, 30th April, 1908, in a 1-1 draw at home to Hibernian in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 32 occasions. His club-list included Woolwich Arsenal and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when James died. *
