Jack Fraser Harkness was born on Monday, 19th January, 2004, in Bathgate, West Lothian. The defender joined Mark Wilson's Thistle for a trial period in June, 2025, having most recently been with Rangers. Aged 21, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 28th June, 2025, in a 3-1 friendly win away to Glenafton Athletic. There were no goals for Jack during his short spell with Thistle. He played his second and last game on Tuesday, 1st July, 2025, in a 3-2 friendly win at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle. At July, 2025, Jack's club-list included Rangers, Greenock Morton, Stirling Albion and Partick Thistle. |
![]() Jack, a right back, came through the youth ranks at Rangers and represented Scotland at U-16 and U-19 levels, latterly featuring for the Rangers B team. He signed a new three-year contract in December 2022 that kept him at Rangers until 2025. In 2023-24, he signed for Greenock Morton in the Championship on a season-long loan deal, before suffering an injury. He joined League 2 Stirling Albion on a season long loan deal in August 2024. Becoming a free agent in the summer of 2025, Jack was invited for a trial with Mark Wilson's Partick Thistle. He played at right back for the final 15 minutes of a 3-1 friendly win away to Glenafton Athletic and for the opening 45 minutes against Inverness CT a few days later. |
