![]() J. He made his first known appearance on Saturday, 21st March, 1896, in a 3-1 friendly win away to Linthouse. There were no known goals for Sinclair during his spell with Thistle. He played his last known game for the club on Saturday, 19th February, 1898, in a 5-4 friendly defeat away to Clyde, having appeared for the Thistle on at least 3 occasions. His club list included Glasgow Perthshire, Partick Thistle and Benburb. We don't know where or when Sinclair died. *

![]() This full-back tried twice for Thistle; in the spring of 1896 when he was a Glasgow Perthshire player and then again in February 1898 whilst he was at Benburb. Of his re-debut (a 5-4 defeat at Shawfield) the Referee reported that Thistle fancied he could yet make a first-class back and that, though a trifle slow against Clyde, he gave promise that more experience and training would develop his ability. The stigma of losing 5 seems to have hindered him though; never again was he seen in the first team. |
