![]() Ian Ross was born on Tuesday, 27th August, 1974, in Broxburn, West Lothian. The 5' 10 (11st 10lbs) midfielder signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 17th January, 2003, having most recently been with St Mirren. Aged 28, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 28th January, 2003, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Livingston in the Scottish Premier League. Ian scored his only goal for Thistle on Saturday, 2nd August, 2003, in a 3-0 friendly win away to Crusaders. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 18th December, 2004, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Hamilton Academical in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 40 occasions.
