Bio Extra

Tall and skilful midflelder who bore more than a passing resemblance to Roy Race (of the Rovers). Signed from Junior Cup finalists of the time Kilbirnie Ladeside, he was unable to show the correct work-rate for a First Division midfielder, despite his undoubted ability. Hugh returned to the juniors with Auchinleck Talbot.
