Technical help required
Our “On This Day” feature on the home page is embedded via i-frame using html mark-up. As you can see, there is a huge amount of white space underneath, due to the fact that we do not have the skillset to embed in such a way that the content snugly fits the viewport no matter which device is being used. As things stand, our only option has been to set the embed height as 10000px to cover most eventualities. We'd dearly love to fix this problem as we have similar challenges ahead in our site development plans. If you're able to assist, please do get in touch →.

Help With Embed feature required

Our 'On This Day' feature is intended to be permanently included on our home page, and is designed to automatically refresh at midnight to reflect the current day in question.

Alas, the page is now failing to populate (it's supposed to come in via the Wikidot equivalent of an i-frame). To demonstrate this, we've set up a temporary page, where you can see varying error messages or graphics, depending on which browser you are using, e.g.

Firefox: "Firefox Can’t Open This Page. To protect your security, feeder.wikidot.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window."

Chrome: "feeder.wikidot.com refused to connect."

Opera: "feeder.wikidot.com is blocked. feeder.wikidot.com refused to connect. ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE"

Even using html language for the i-frame fails to solve the problem.

You can view the feature page which we are trying to embed via the direct url here external-link.png.

If anyone with I.T. know-how could offer some assistance we'd be very pleased to receive it!
