Harrison Nee |
Harrison Nee was born on Wednesday, 2nd July, 2003, in Preston, Lancashire. The 5' 7 (9st 9lbs) forward joined Kris Doolan's Thistle for a trial period in July, 2023, having most recently been with Coventry City. Aged 20, he made his only appearance (as a trialist) on Tuesday, 4th July, 2023, in a 2-1 friendly win away to Kelty Hearts. That night, Harrison became a member of our scoring debutant's club. At September, 2024, Harrison's club-list included Coventry City, Barwell, Partick Thistle, Peterborough Sports and Rugby Town. |
This tricky forward, at Coventry City since the age of 10, finished 2020-21 with 18 goals in 18 league games for their Under-18s, despite missing a couple of months of the campaign through injury, and was rewarded with his first professional contract in the summer of 2021. He spent the best part of two seasons with the Sky Blues U-23s and was in and around the first team in 2022-23, making the bench in a number of FA Cup and Championship games. That same season he had a wintertime loan spell at 7th tier Barwell (Southern League - Premier) where he scored on several occasions. In May 2023, after 10 years at Coventry, he announced his decision to move on, and his journey soon landed him in Glasgow for a trial period in July. Replacing Brian Graham at half-time, Harrison got the full second half of a 2-1 friendly win away to Kelty Hearts and, brilliantly, he scored the winning goal with 8 minutes left to play. Latching on to an exquisite through ball from James Lyon, Harrison showed composure and skill to serve justice to a fine move. This was just two days after he had just turned 20 - a great way to start his non-teenage years! Signed a one year deal with National League North (6th tier) outfit Peterborough Sports on 26th August 2023. |
