Bio Extra

The current manager of Camelon Juniors, he joined Thistle in the summer of 1990 from Dunfermline. A tall commanding centre half Tierney relished a physical battle with forwards - and had the scars to prove it - and enjoyed particular success against Mark Hateley of Rangers. Always a threat at set pieces he took time out from his defensive duties to score Thistle's second goal in the famous 3-0 win over Rangers in May 1993.
