Graham John Kyle was born on Friday, 15th December, 1961, in Johnstone, Renfrewshire.

The goalkeeper signed for Benny Rooney's Thistle circa September, 1985 (after a trial period), having most recently been with Baillieston Juniors.

Aged 23, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 31st July, 1985, in a 1-0 friendly defeat away to Stirling Albion.

There were no clean-sheets for Graham during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 21st September, 1985, in a 2-1 defeat at home to Hamilton Academical in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions.

Graham's club-list included Cumbernauld United, Morton, Baillieston Juniors, Queen of the South, Partick Thistle and Stenhousemuir.

Bio Extra

Benny Rooney signed Graeme for a short spell while John Brough was injured, An ex-Morton player, Graeme was playing with junior club Baillieston when he was recalled to the seniors. Overweight and lacking in confidence, he played just two games before Brough regained his fitness.
