Graham Dorrans was born on Tuesday, 5th May, 1987, in Glasgow.

The 5' 11 (13st 6lbs) midfielder temporarily transferred to Dick Campbell's Thistle on Wednesday, 31st August, 2005, from his parent club, Livingston.

Aged 18, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 10th September, 2005, in a 2-2 draw away to Ayr United in the SFL Second Division.

Graham scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 1st October, 2005, in a 6-1 win away to Alloa Athletic in the SFL Second Division.

He scored the last of his 5 goals on Saturday, 17th December, 2005, in a 4-3 win at home to Alloa Athletic in the SFL Second Division.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 31st December, 2005, in a 2-1 win away to Dumbarton in the SFL Second Division, having appeared as a Jag on 15 occasions.

At May, 2023, Graham's club-list included Livingston, Partick Thistle, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City, Rangers, Dundee, Western Sydney Wanderers, Dunfermline Athletic and Johnstone Burgh.

Bio Extra

Dorrans came from the Barlanark area of Glasgow and spent a period of his youth training with Scottish Premier League club Rangers. He began his career at Livingston, emerging through the ranks alongside future international teammate Robert Snodgrass. He spent the first half of the 2005–06 season on loan at Partick Thistle where he made 15 league appearances, scoring five goals for the Glasgow side. Dorrans won the Scottish First Division Player's Player of the Year award at the end of the 2007–08 season.

Dorrans joined English club West Bromwich Albion in 2008. In the 2009–10 season, he helped West Bromwich Albion gain promotion to the Premier League and was named in the Championship Team of the Year in the process. He signed for Norwich City in 2015, and then moved to Rangers in 2017. After a couple of years there mired by injury issues, he regained his fitness with Dundee before moving to Western Sydney Wanderers in 2020. Dorrans would return to Scotland the following year, signing with Dunfermline Athletic. After 19 League appearances for the Pars he left the club in September 2022 by mutual consent. In May 2023, just before his 36th birthday, Dorrans signed for 7th tier Johnstone Burgh of the West of Scotland League First Division.

Dorrans has represented Scotland at under-20, under-21, and senior levels. He was a member of the Scotland squad at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He made his full international debut for Scotland in October 2009, and has made 12 international appearances in total.
