Bio Extra

Robertson was one of a number of signings made by John Lambie in the summer of 1990 and for the next two seasons he was a regular in the Thistle side mostly in the right back slot, although he did play a number of games in the Thistle midfield in the closing weeks of the 91/92 season. Never the most popular of players with the Thistle support, he was nevertheless a steady if not particularly outstanding performer and his contribution to the promotion winning squad shouldn't be under estimated. Left Thistle to join Ayr United.
