Bio Extra

Previously with Hearts, Berwick, Falkirk and Meadowbank, "Pogo" joined Thistle in September 1985, and scored his first goal for the club a week after his debut. Always an enthusiastic striker, his bustling style created problems for opposing defences, but his temper often meant that he was his own and Thistle's worst enemy, contriving to be sent off on more than one occasion. Despite this he was a popular player with the supporters. Left to join East Fife.
