Bio Extra

Signed direct from school in 1981, he and his brother Jamie were rated the two outstanding prospects at Firhill. Gerry played several times for the Scottish youth teams, and played very well in midfield or full-back in his first and second seasons, although towards the end of 83/4 his performances seemed to lack sparkle. He played just a handful of games the next season, before leaving the club. Went on to play with Alloa and Dumbarton.
