 George Black was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Friday, 6th December, 1907, having most recently been with Port Glasgow Athletic. He made his only appearance on Saturday, 14th December, 1907, in a 7-2 defeat away to Airdrieonians in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for George in his one-off appearance for Thistle. His club-list included Westmarch XI, Abercorn, Johnstone, Port Glasgow Athletic, Partick Thistle and Arthurlie. We don't know where or when George died. *
