![]() George Paton Adams was born on Saturday, 1st July, 1950, in Glasgow. The 6' 1 (11st 8lbs) forward signed for Davie McParland's Thistle on Friday, 1st June, 1973, having most recently been with Aberdeen. Aged 23, he made his only appearance on Saturday, 29th September, 1973, in a 2-0 defeat away to Dumbarton in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for George in his one-off appearance for Thistle. George's club-list included Petershill, Aberdeen, Clyde, Partick Thistle, Stranraer, Alloa Athletic, East Stirlingshire, Buckie Thistle and Fraserburgh. |
