![]() Gardner Brownlie was born in Caldercruix, North Lanarkshire. * The 5' 9 (10st 7lbs) forward signed for Willie Thornton's Thistle on Tuesday, 16th November, 1965, having most recently been with Seafield United. He was listed as a substitute for the first time on Saturday, 6th May, 1967, in a 3-0 win at home to Dundee United in the SFL First Division. There were no registered first-team appearances for Gardner in his time at Thistle. Gardner's club-list included Seafield United, Partick Thistle, Bathgate Thistle and Alloa Athletic.
