Fraser Cameron Taylor was born on Thursday, 20th February, 2003, in Johnstone, Renfrewshire. The 5' 6 (9st 6lbs) midfielder temporarily transferred to Mark Wilson's Thistle on Thursday, 29th January, 2026, from his parent club, St Mirren. Aged 22, he made his debut appearance on Friday, 30th January, 2026, in a 2-2 draw away to St Johnstone in the SPFL Championship. We look forward to seeing Fraser score his first goal for Thistle. His club-list includes St Mirren, Cumbernauld Colts, Ballymena United, Arbroath and Partick Thistle. He's contracted at Firhill until May, 2026. |
![]() Described as a clever wee ball player with a good set play delivery, this attacking midfielder came through with the St Mirren Academy, his boyhood team. The teenager got his first taste of men's football in the latter half of 2021-22, turning out for Cumbernauld Colts of the Lowland League. Aged 19, he got his first-team debut for St Mirren in July 2022, coming on from the bench in a 3–1 home victory over Edinburgh City in the League Cup group stages. A season-long loan-spell with Ballymena United followed in season 2023-24 and, as the Belfast Newsletter described it, the wee man lit up the Irish League during his stint with the Sky Blues, winning their Player of the Year prize after scoring four Premiership goals to ultimately help Jim Ervin’s men avoid relegation. In August 2024, Fraser, back with St Mirren, assisted Alex Iacovitti's goal against SK Brann in the UEFA Conference League and made his first start for the Saints a few days later in their League Cup match away to Dundee United. The 21-year-old was sent out on loan again shortly afterwards and played a key role as Arbroath claimed the League One title in the springtime of 2025, being directly involved in some 20 goals for the Red Lichties during the campaign. He reaped a great personal reward by winning the Division's player of the season award. Fraser was in and around Stephen Robinson's first team at St Mirren in 2025-26, making 13 appearances including 6 starts. He made the move from Paisley to Maryhill in the January transfer window, joining Mark Wilson's Partick Thistle on loan until the end of season 2025-26. One day after signing, Fraser made his debut from the bench, looking lively and acquitting himself well in a top-of-the-table clash in Perth; St Johnstone 2 Thistle 2. |
