Fraser Easton |
Fraser John Easton was born on Thursday, 23rd September, 1982, in Stirling. The 6' 0 (11st 2lbs) defender signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Thursday, 10th August, 2000, having most recently been with Linlithgow Bridge Boys Club. Aged 18, he made his only appearance on Wednesday, 18th July, 2001, in a 5-1 win at home to Alan Morgan Select in a Benefit match. There were no goals for Fraser in his one-off appearance for Thistle. Fraser's known club-list included only Partick Thistle. |
This Stirling-born defender joined in the summer of 2000, and played with the youth team. 12 months later he was one of four players (including Andy Gibson, Greg Milligan & Nicky Collins) to be given a basic first team deal. Within days, the 18-year-old came off the bench for the 5-1 win over an Alan Morgan Select (Alan Morgan's Testimonial match) but that proved to be his one and only apperance in the first team. He made the bench only once more (25th August 2001 in a 3-1 win at Arbroath) but simply could not find a place in the excellent Thistle team of the day. |
