Edward Alexander Forrest was born on Sunday, 17th December, 1978, in Edinburgh.

The 6' 0 (12st 0lbs) defender signed for Gerry Collins's Thistle on Thursday, 10th July, 2003, having most recently been with Arbroath.

Aged 24, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 22nd July, 2003, in a 1-1 friendly draw away to Greenock Morton.

There were no goals for Eddie during his time with Thistle.
