Edward Alexander Forrest was born on Sunday, 17th December, 1978, in Edinburgh. The 6' 0 (12st 0lbs) defender signed for Gerry Collins's Thistle on Thursday, 10th July, 2003, having most recently been with Arbroath. Aged 24, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 22nd July, 2003, in a 1-1 friendly draw away to Greenock Morton. There were no goals for Eddie during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Wednesday, 11th February, 2004, in a 5-2 win at home to Livingston in the Scottish Premier League, having appeared as a Jag on 10 occasions. Eddie's club-list included Stirling Albion, Airdrieonians, Motherwell, Berwick Rangers, Arbroath, Partick Thistle, Forfar Athletic, Ayr United and East Stirlingshire. |
