Dominic Morgan-Griffiths |
Dominic Morgan-Griffiths was born on Monday, 4th May, 1998, in London. The 5' 9 (11st 0lbs) midfielder joined Kris Doolan's Thistle for a trial period in July, 2023, having most recently been with Hemel Hempstead Town. Aged 25, he made his only appearance on Tuesday, 4th July, 2023, in a 2-1 friendly win away to Kelty Hearts. There were no goals for Dominic in his one-off appearance for Thistle. At September, 2024, Dominic's club-list included Bedford Town, Hartley Wintney, Tooting & Mitcham United, Hemel Hempstead Town, Partick Thistle and Sevenoaks Town. |
This versatile midfielder worked his way up England's national league system and, pre-Thistle, had been playing 6th tier football with Hemel Hempstead Town in the National League South, where he was described by their media team as one of their most consistent performers in 2021-22, so much so that he represented England at the six-a-side European Champions, held in Slovakia in the summer of 2022! He signed on for a second season in August 2022, but after 50+ league appearances for the Tudors left for pastures new in the close season of 2023. The Ryan Edwards look-a-like wore the #6 shirt as a trialist for Thistle early in July 2023, a low-key 2-1 friendly win at New Central Park. Dominic was one of 8 debutants that night, playing in the middle of the park alongside Stuart Bannigan for 55 minutes, at which point he made way for James Lyon. By the end of that month Dominic rejoined Bedford Town, where he had started out as an 18-year-old back in 2016. |
