![]() Dickie Williamson was probably born in Scotland, circa 1943, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The 5' 3 forward signed for Willie Thornton's Thistle on Wednesday, 16th August, 1961, having most recently been with Armadale Thistle. Aged 18, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 30th August, 1961, in a 2-1 win at home to Hibernian in the League Cup. That day, Dickie became a member of our scoring debutant's club. He scored the last of his 6 goals on Saturday, 25th August, 1962, in a 3-0 win away to Aberdeen in the League Cup. He played his last game for the club on Wednesday, 12th September, 1962, in a 2-1 defeat at home to Kilmarnock in the League Cup, having appeared as a Jag on 20 occasions. Dickie's club-list included Armadale Thistle, Partick Thistle, Berwick Rangers and Stenhousemuir.
