The forward signed for Thistle on Saturday, 27th October, 1900, having most recently been with Dunfermline Athletic Juniors.

He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 27th October, 1900, in a 3-0 win away to Cameronians in the Glasgow Cup.

That day, Dick became a member of our scoring debutant's club.

He scored his second and final goal for the club on Saturday, 3rd November, 1900, in a 4-1 defeat away to Rangers in the SFL First Division.

He played his last game for Thistle on Saturday, 19th January, 1901, in a 2-0 defeat away to Hibernian in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions.

His club-list included Dunfermline Athletic Juniors and Partick Thistle.
