Declan McDaid was born on Wednesday, 22nd November, 1995, in Greenock, Renfrewshire. The 5' 9 (11st 7lbs) midfielder signed for Alan Archibald's Thistle on Friday, 21st June, 2013, having most recently been with Greenock Morton. Aged 17, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 9th July, 2013, in a 5-1 friendly win away to Annan Athletic. Declan scored his only two goals for Thistle on Wednesday, 9th July, 2014, in a 3-1 friendly win away to F.C. Pinatar. He played his last game for the club on Friday, 13th January, 2017, in a 5-2 neutral-venue friendly defeat against Lokeren, having appeared as a Jag on 41 occasions. At August, 2022, Declan's club-list included Greenock Morton, Partick Thistle, Cowdenbeath, Ayr United, Dundee, Falkirk and Bohemians. |
