Bio Extra

Described by his agent as an excellent communicator, good decision maker, confident in coming for crosses, and excellent in one on ones, instilling confidence in the defenders in front of him. Well, that would do nicely wouldn't it? Dean joined the ThistleWeir youth academy at just 10 years old. An injury crisis in April 2022 resulted in Stenhousemuir boss Stephen Swift drafting him in from Thistle's U-18s for an emergency 7 day loan. Their League 2 match at Forfar (30th April 2022) finished scoreless and Dean was on the bench for Stenny for the duration. No doubt his agent will be claiming the clean-sheet! 18-year-old Dean joined East Kilbride in July 2023, where he will continue his development as #3 behind Christopher Truesdale and Lyle Avci, and play in their Development (U-20) team.
