 Davie Neilson was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The defender appeared as a guest for Thistle in November, 1895, having most recently been with Gordon Highlanders. He made his only known appearance on Saturday, 9th November, 1895, in a 2-1 win at home to Port Glasgow Athletic in the SFL Second Division. There were no goals for Davie in his only known appearance for Thistle. His club-list included Gordon Highlanders and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Davie died. *
