David Syme was born on Monday, 23rd June, 1997, in Kilbirnie, North Ayrshire. The 6' 1 (12st 11lbs) defender signed for Alan Archibald's Thistle on Thursday, 16th June, 2016, having most recently been with Kilmarnock. Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 29th June, 2016, in a 6-0 friendly win away to Cirencester Town. There were no goals for David during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 9th August, 2016, in a 3-1 defeat away to Dundee United in the League Cup, having appeared as a Jag on 5 occasions. At September, 2024, David's club-list included Kilmarnock, Partick Thistle, Raith Rovers, Cowdenbeath, Troon, Kilwinning Rangers, Darvel and Clydebank. |
