Bio Extra

This centre half served his footballing apprenticeship with Bertie Auld's Thistle, newly promoted to the Premier League, but never got near a first team which included mighty Jagsmen such as Jackie Campbell and Andy Anderson. Eventually left to strengthen his men's game in the juniors, before enjoying two seasons in the Scottish First Division, beginning with Billy Lamont's Dumbarton in 1982-83, followed by Falkirk the following season.
