 David Andrew Rowson was born on Tuesday, 14th September, 1976, in Aberdeen. The 5' 10 (12st 2lbs) midfielder signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 17th January, 2003, having most recently been with Stoke City. Aged 26, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 28th January, 2003, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Livingston in the Scottish Premier League. David scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 24th May, 2003, in a 3-2 win away to Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League. He scored the last of his 12 goals on Saturday, 10th December, 2011, in a 2-1 win away to Greenock Morton in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 24th November, 2012, in a 2-0 win at home to Livingston in the SFL First Division, having clocked up an impressive 285 appearances as a Jag. David's club-list included Aberdeen, Livingston, Stoke City, Partick Thistle, Northampton Town, Darlington, Boston United and Stenhousemuir. |
