David John Kennedy was born on Friday, 7th October, 1966, in Ayr, South Ayrshire.

The 5' 10 (11st 0lbs) defender signed for Tommy Bryce's Thistle on Thursday, 11th June, 1998, having most recently been with Queen of the South.

Aged 31, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 18th July, 1998, in a 3-2 friendly win away to Stranraer.

There were no goals for David during his time with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 13th March, 1999, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Clyde in the SFL Second Division, having appeared as a Jag on 31 occasions.

David's club-list included Minishant Amateurs, Ayr United, Queen of the South, Partick Thistle and Glenafton Athletic.

Bio Extra

Became Tommy Bryce's first signing as Thistle manager when he joined The Jags from Queen of the South in the summer of 1998. Was a regular in the side in the early stages of that season before injury restricted his availability. His best moment as a Thistle player came when he took over in goal from the injured Kenny Arthur in a game at Alloa, keeping a clean sheet as Thistle won 1-0.
