Bio Extra

Developed as a youth at Aberdeen before joining Livingston in 2012. It was there he got his senior debut as a 17-year-old, coming on as a second half sub at home to Airdrieonians that August. He became a first-team regular straight away, albeit mostly from the bench in his first season, and eventually racked up 42 goals in 176 appearances over 4½ seasons at Almondvale. Experienced the pain of relegation to the third tier in 2016, but bounced back to the championship a year later. He moved to St Mirren on an "emergency loan" basis in December 2017, and a five-figure transfer fee was reportedly paid for the permanent transfer, just weeks later. On 11th January 2018 it was confirmed that Mullen had signed a 2½ year deal with Saints, tying him to the club until the summer of 2020. He bagged 14 goals in 72 appearances there, winning promotion to the top-tier within a matter of months after joining. After two season in the Premiership with St Mirren, Danny stepped back to the Championship with promotion hopefuls Dundee for 2020-21. He again experienced the joy of promotion in his first season there (scoring in the play-offs final), but the pain of relegation was felt twelve months later. Danny scored 15 goals in 63 appearances with the Dee. His summer of doubt in 2022 ended when he signed a one year deal at Firhill. Having been promoted to the Premiership with both St Mirren and Dundee at the first time of asking, Danny will be all-out for what would be a mighty treble in 2022-23.
