He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 7th April, 1900, in a 4-2 defeat away to Kilmarnock in the Western League. Daniel kept his first clean-sheet on Saturday, 21st April, 1900, in a 3-0 win at home to Clyde in the Western League. He registered the last of his 4 clean-sheets on Saturday, 6th April, 1901, in a 1-0 win at home to Port Glasgow Athletic in the Western League. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 5th October, 1901, in a 2-0 defeat away to St Bernard's in the SFL Second Division, having appeared as a Jag on 28 occasions.
