Bio Extra

This young 'keeper was given the nod for the final 17 minutes of Stuart Bannigan's testimonial game, taking over from his U-18s team-mate, Luis Cameron. Wearing Jamie Sneddon's name on the back of his top wasn't ideal, and he'll long remember Liam Buchanan who scored a 5 minute hat-trick against him. To be fair to the lad, his appalling defenders left him exposed! Connor made his first competitive matchday squad on 7 February 2026, making the long trip to Elgin as Thistle defeated City by 3 goals to 2, to qualify for the Scottish Cup Quarter Finals. A mainstay of Thistle's top youth team which finished as league runners-up in both 2024-25 & 2025-26. After playing his part in the back-to-back clean-sheets which opened 2026-27, Connor answered the emergency loan call from Pollok after their new 'keeper was ruled out for several weeks in late July 2026, a move which co-incided with the announcement of his first senior contract at Firhill, a one year deal. Clearly gaining a reputation as an emergency stand-in man, Arthurlie subsequently borrowed him for their West of Scotland Football League Premier Division fixture against St. Roch's on 29 August 2026.
