![]() This promising centre back signed as a Modern Apprentice in 2009 and, as an 18-year-old, came off the bench in the first two pre-season friendlies of 2010. His rise through the Jags ranks was suddenly halted when a serious knee injury, sustained in training, ruled him out for the entire campaign. After a year on the sidelines, he failed to make the breakthrough into the first team in the post-recovery period. He left Firhill in the close season of 2012, signing for Chris Strain's Irvine Meadow, where he hoped to form a defensive partnership with ex-Jag Willie Kinniburgh, but just a few months later he had moved on again to Greenock Juniors. The old knee injury continued to give him trouble and hampered his appearances. He signed for one last try with Port Glasgow in March 2015, but had to quit before too long. |
