Bio Extra

This tall young striker has been a Thistle Weir Academy player all of his high school days, earning player of the year at under 11s level in 2018. He was doing so well that term that he stepped up two levels to play for the under 13s, a great achievement at that age. To cap it all off he scored on his debut at that level too! At 14, he was scoring freely for the Partick Thistle U-18s. Making your debut for the Thistle first team while you're still at high school is also some achievement, and Ceiran added that to his CV when he came on for Blair Alston for the last 25 minutes of Stuart Bannigan's testimonial. At that very moment, the 15 years, 6 months and 4 days lad became the youngest Partick Thistle player in history! With Thistle leading 2-1, Ceiran might have thought he'd sealed the win with 7 minutes to go, but referee Kevin Clancy adjudged that his angled shot didn't cross the line, a cruel denial of a scoring debut. Looked over to most in attendance!
