Bio Extra

A graduate of the Riccarton youth academy, the young right back made his senior Hearts debut at the age of 16 against Kilmarnock in May 2018. He was given a chance along with a host of other academy kids as then-manager Craig Levein dealt with a long list of injuries to more experienced players. He was loaned to Cove Rangers in 2021 and then Edinburgh City in 2022 in order to improve his development. Opportunities were limited at Tynecastle, and Cammy spent the first half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Kelty Hearts. In February 2023, the Edinburgh club made the decision to send him to fellow League One side Queen of the South for the remainder of that campaign, where he linked up with former Hearts players Harry Cochrane and Gavin Reilly. He impressed at Palemerston and signed permanently on a one-year deal in the summer of 2023. He was on the move again in October 2024, when he signed a deal with League 2 Forfar Athletic.

In June 2025, landing at Firhill for a trial, Cammy played at right back in the first half of a 3-1 pre-season friendly win at Glenafton, and impressed fans with his determined play, even gettting on the scoresheet to make it 2-0 just on the stroke of half-time. Following his impressive trial period, Cammy signed on a one year deal at Firhill, with the option to extend for an additional year. Having scored on his 'all games' debut, Cammy wasted little time in repeating the feat on his 'competitive' debut on 11th July 2025. His 6th minute goal away to Edinburgh City (one of his former clubs) was the first goal of the new Scottish football season, led to Thistle's League Cup campaign getting off to a 4-1 win.
