Brian McQuade

● Brian McQuade, 1987 (SD) Brian McQuade was born on Wednesday, 10th August, 1966, in Lanark, South Lanarkshire. The 5' 9 (9st 5lbs) defender signed for Benny Rooney's Thistle circa Saturday, 13th July, 1985, having most recently been with Netherdale Community. Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 11th January, 1986, in a 3-1 defeat away to Morton in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Brian during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 9th May, 1987, in a 1-0 defeat away to Kilmarnock in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 23 occasions. Brian's club-list included Netherdale Community, Partick Thistle and Larkhall Thistle.

Bio Extra

Young left back or midfielder who was signed from Netherdale in 1985. When he played he always tried to be creative but at the end of 86/87 he was transferred to Larkhall Thistle.
