Brian Hamilton was born on Saturday, 5th August, 1967, in Paisley, Renfrewshire. The 6' 0 (11st 7lbs) midfielder signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 8th December, 2000, having most recently been with Clydebank. Aged 33, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 16th December, 2000, in a 1-1 draw away to Arbroath in the SFL Second Division. There were no goals for Brian during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 5th May, 2001, in a 4-0 win at home to Stenhousemuir in the SFL Second Division, having appeared as a Jag on 18 occasions. Brian's club-list included St Mirren, Hibernian, Heart of Midlothian, Falkirk, Stranraer, Ayr United, Canberra Cosmos, Clydebank, Partick Thistle and Irvine Meadow XI. |
