Aged 36, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 26th July, 1997, in a 4-0 friendly win away to Gala Fairydean. That day, Bobby became a member of our scoring debutant's club. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 23rd August, 1997, in a 2-2 draw away to Ayr United in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 5 occasions.
