 Blair Thomas Spittal was born on Tuesday, 19th December, 1995, in Erskine, Renfrewshire. The 6' 0 (11st 9lbs) midfielder signed for Alan Archibald's Thistle on Thursday, 15th June, 2017, having most recently been with Dundee United. Aged 21, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 11th July, 2017, in a 2-1 friendly defeat away to Dumbarton. Blair scored his first two goals for Thistle on Saturday, 22nd July, 2017, in a 5-0 win at home to St Mirren in the League Cup. He scored the last of his 17 goals on Saturday, 24th October, 2020, in a 2-1 win at home to Airdrieonians in the SPFL League One. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 14th November, 2020, in a 0-0 draw at home to Greenock Morton in the League Cup, having clocked up 100 appearances as a Jag.
