Bio Extra

Right sided midfielder who can slot in at the back if required. The Thistle Weir academy player made the bench for the Thistle first team towards the end of 2020, and appeared on the last day of the season in the 2-3 loss at Montrose, the match after the title party. Alongside James Lyon, Mason McCready & Gospel Ocholi, Billy signed a 2 year modern apprentice contract at Firhill in May, 2021. In August 2021, he joined East Kilbride of the Lowland League on a season-long loan deal. He was back at Firhill the following season but, frustratingly for Billy, he sat on the bench 17 times in competitive matches in 2022-23, never getting the nod to appear, and his contract was not renewed come the summertime. Signed a one year deal with League One Kelty Hearts in July 2023.
